As most if not all laboratories, environmental laboratories are required to maintain measurement traceability throughout their testing activities. If the measurement traceability chain is weak or broken, the test results are called into question. During this course, the requirements of TNI standard EL-V1M2-2016-Rev 2.1, section 5.6 will be reviewed, as well as the components of the traceability chain such as certificates of analysis and laboratory records, will be identified and discussed.
Additionally, the course will provide a mechanism for documenting traceability related to calibrations, reference standards and materials, solvents and reagents, and instruments and equipment. Finally, the course will examine a traceability procedure to verify that it meets the requirements of the standard(clicking this link will take you to the ANAB website)

Activities typically covered by accreditation include testing; calibration; inspection; certification of management systems, persons, products, processes, and services; provision of proficiency testing; production of reference materials; and validation and verification. ISO/IEC 17011 specifies base requirements for operations of accrediting bodies. Requirements contained in ISO/IEC 17011 are used to support peer evaluation mechanisms created at regional and international levels and through which confidence is provided that accreditation bodies around the world operate to the same standards.
ANAB’s web-based, self-paced ISO/IEC 17011 training is designed to help participants gain knowledge of the requirements for accreditation bodies and an understanding of the activities performed by accreditation bodies, such as accreditation oversight, complaint handling, and information release.
This training covers all of the clauses of ISO/IEC 17011 and provides a practical understanding of the topics covered via quizzes throughout the training. The course will also provide an overview of ISO/CASCO and the relevant international cooperations.(clicking this link will take you to the ANAB website)
